All is well with the researching, but I am not yet ready to report on it at this time. I did give the gardener the photos of his grandparents, Isidore and Celia, for his birthday. First gift I was sure he really liked and was surprised by!

Hahaha, well, I have not done as much because of NaPoWriMo and Inna our genealogist is doing work “behind the scenes” right now. However, I had a binge on one of my Kalamazoo branches over the weekend.

Thanks, Pancho! You noticed the paper! Yes, c/o of ASPCA donation. Since the gardener and I are into animal rescue it seemed a fitting giftwrap for him.

I would like to mat them to a regular size and then buy frames that have an old-fashioned look to them, maybe even gilt-looking. That doesn’t go with my house, but it might look best with the photos. Most of my frames are simple black.
